From the east: From the northeast (New York, Philadelphia etc.) take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Rte. 15S, exit route 30, westward (to the right) onto York Street.  From nearby eastward locations (e.g. Lancaster, York) take Rte. 30.

Travel U.S. Route 30 West, following signs through the traffic circle in the center of Gettysburg (exit the traffic circle directly opposite your entry point to the circle). At the second traffic signal after the traffic circle stay in the left-hand lane and go straight onto Springs Avenue (U.S. Rte. 30 West goes right). After passing the Hay Street intersection, turn right onto the second driveway. This driveway will lead you to parking for Valentine Hall.

From the north: From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (1-76) travel south on U.S. Route 15, approx. 30 miles to the Route 30, York Street exit. Take U.S. Rte. 30 (York Street) exit and go West on Rte. 30, following signs through the traffic circle in the center of Gettysburg (exit the traffic circle directly opposite your entry point to the circle). At the second traffic signal after the traffic circle stay in the left-hand lane and go straight onto Springs Avenue (U.S. Rte. 30 West goes right here). After passing the Hay Street intersection, turn right onto the second driveway. This driveway will lead you to parking for Valentine Hall.

From the south: Enter Pennsylvania on U.S. Rte. 15 (from Frederick, MD). Exit at Business 15 North, Steinwehr Avenue and turn left onto Business 15 North. Follow Business 15 North into the traffic circle in the center of Gettysburg. Exit the traffic circle on U.S. Rte. 30 West (3/4 of the way around the traffic circle from your entry point). At the second traffic signal after the circle stay in the left hand lane and go straight onto Springs Avenue (U.S. Rte. 30 West goes right here). After passing the Hay Street intersection, turn right onto the second driveway. This driveway will lead you to parking for Valentine Hall.

From the west: From Chambersburg take U.S. Rte. 30 East for approx. 30 miles. As you approach the Gettysburg area you reach a traffic signal at the edge of the battlefield. The cross street is Reynolds Avenue where several monuments to the Battle of Gettysburg are found. Seminary Ridge is the next right-hand turn, opposite the Larson's Quality Inn. As you approach the right turn, you will notice seminary buildings, including the chapel, on the right-hand side. Follow Seminary Ridge to the stop sign. Turn left onto Springs Avenue. Turn left again at the first driveway. This driveway will lead you to parking for Valentine Hall.

Enter Valentine Hall through the glass doors and register with the receptionist's office to the right of the staircase.

From BWI (Baltimore Washington International, Thurgood Marshall Airport)

From BWI, follow the airport exit signs that put you on the highway connector Route #195 out of the airport vicinity, and take exit onto North 95. You will want to move to the left most lane as soon as possible, for the next exit (to 695 outer beltway) is a left lane exit.  Follow 695 north or clockwise around Baltimore until you see 795 northwest extension signs. Take 795, a right hand exit -- which takes you only a few miles to the north and west. When 795 ends, exit right #140, toward Westminster, and take that route 140 (multiple lanes) through an extended strip of franchise and big box retail stores. You will see a sign for Gettysburg at an exit marked 97, and take that northward, all the way into the middle of the borough. You'll see the way route 97 comes into the maps above (MapQuest Map), observe speed limits carefully on 97. The seminary is west of the town's center; take 97 to the circle in the town, and go 3/4 of the way around the circle and exit w. Follow Chambersburg Street west for two blocks; at the second light, go straight ahead onto Springs Avenue where the seminary campus begins in three more blocks.
