Strong, supportive financial aid and superb seminary housing help complete the picture that makes the Lutheran Theological Seminary the perfect setting to prepare for your ministry.

In recognition of the generous financial support of the seminary by ELCA congregations and synods, each ELCA full-time student receives a $2,000 tuition scholarship for the academic year. ELCA students attending on a part-time basis also receive a partial tuition scholarship.

In addition to ELCA support, congregations, synods, seminary scholarships and grants, loans and employment all work together to make a seminary education viable. (see Financial Aid)

Campus Housing is Affordable
The 52 acre Seminary campus offers high quality, affordable housing on campus, and Gettysburg also features livable rental housing within easy reach of the campus. On campus housing includes apartments, ranging in monthly rental costs from $430 to $740. Dormitory rooms costs $278/month and dorm suites with multiple bedrooms are also avialable. The Seminary will provide more detailed costs and model student budgets upon request.
