THANKING ST. JAMES
Please take a moment to stop by the mailroom and sign a card thanking St. James for the dinner they provided last week. The card will be in the mailroom through Thursday. Thank you!
VETERANS' NEEDS TOPIC OF UPCOMING PANEL
Those returning from military service are the mothers and fathers, the wives and husbands, the daughters and sons of many in our society and our congregations. Six chaplains of the Walter Reed Army Hospital and the Bethesda Naval Medical Center will focus on the needs of returning veterans and the ways in which pastoral care may be provided for them with the presentation "Pastoral Care for the Returning Veteran: Struggles for Reintegration, Hope for Health and Healing," on April 7 from noon-2pm at Valentine Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Professor Leonard Hummel at lhummel@Ltsg.edu or Kathleen Reed at kreed@Ltsg.edu.

UN-SOLEMN WAKE
Members of the "Funeral Proclamation" class will hold an un-solemn wake Tuesday for the conclusion of the course. We will eat, drink, hear a sermon, hear some poetry, say goodbye. Music will provided by the video "New Orleans Jazz Funeral." Anyone outside the class wanting to see the video, come to Val 206 at 10am. Requiescat in pace!
ASK A BISHOP ABOUT SEX!
Do you have any questions for the Region 8 bishops about the 2009 Churchwide Assembly decisions on human sexuality? Place your questions in the "Thoughtful Questions" box in the Coffee Shop before Tuesday. The questions will be used for a community forum on March 23 from 8-9pm in Valentine 206, sponsored by the Communications Committee. Any additional questions, thoughts or comments may be directed to Cassandra Lamb (clamb@Ltsg.edu).
JUNIOR CLASS TO MEET AND PARTY
The Junior Class will meet on March 17 immediately following chapel in Valentine 206. We will have a combined class meeting and St. Patrick's Day party, so please sign up to bring a contribution on our Google doc. We especially encourage the students who joined the LTSG community in January to attend!
S.A. BOARD NOMINATIONS OPEN
Nominations are now open for next year's Student Association Executive Board. Nominations are being accepted for president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Job descriptions for each of these are located on the SA bulletin board on the first floor of Valentine. Nominations may be sent to Caitlin (cglass@Ltsg.edu)and close on March 23 at midnight.

FOOD FROM AROUND THE WORLD
How would you like to share your culture with the rest of the LTSG community? The Global Table Gathering is a way to share cultural foods from around the world. It is scheduled for March 24 at 5:30pm in the Refectory. This year, the gathering will be an all-campus community meal sponsored by the Social Outreach and Community Life committees. If you or someone you know at LTSG is interested in representing a specific culture by bringing a main dish to share (Biggerstaff's catering will provide culturally specific desserts), please contact Haley Vay Poynter at hpoynter@Ltsg.edu by March 22.
SENIOR BANQUET DATE SET
Faculty and staff are invited to the Senior Banquet on April 23 from 5-9pm at Bender's Lutheran Church. Please save the date and RSVP to David Ludwick at dludwick@Ltsg.edu. Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you there!

WORSHIP SURVEY
The LTSG Worship and Music Committee surveys current students, families, faculty and staff every few years concerning worship at the seminary. This is part of an effort to identify, consider and possibly address concerns and appreciations. We understand that, at this point in the semester, time is limited, but we fervently solicit your help. The survey will take only a few moments, but it will give us valuable information toward making worship life at LTSG richer and more rewarding. Please fill out the survey, which can be found here. It will be open through March 22. Thank you in advance for your participation!
SENIOR CLASS TO MEET
The Senior Class will meet in Valentine 310 on Wednesday at lunch. Don't forget to bring your lunch or reusable container to grab soup from the Refectory!
FOLKEMER'S CELTIC GROUP TO PERFORM
Cormorant's Fancy, the Celtic band featuring Dr. and Beth Folkemer as well as Joel Folkemer, will be performing in the area for St. Paddy's Week. The group will be featured on St. Paddy's Day, March 17, from 9pm-midnight, at Flannery's Pub on the square in Mercersburg, about 45 minutes from Gettysburg. On March 19 from 6-9pm, the group will play in the dining room at the Historic Fairfield Inn in Fairfield, about 12 minutes west of campus on Rt. 116 West (reservations suggested).
