The Rev. Kathleen Reed, who serves as Director of Advancement, communicates with graduates through various publications
such as the newsletter, direct mail pieces, and brochures highlighting upcoming
seminary events.
The 20 members of the Alumni Council meet three times a year to plan an agenda
for the year, develop special programs, and arrange for the Alumni Awards. They
work with the Director to help promote the Alumni program so it will be a vital
part of every graduates' life.
"Carethons" and "phonathons" are held throughout the year to update
Alumni with seminary news. It also provides an opportunity for Alumni to share
information as well.
Every class of the Seminary has a designated class
representative. He or she provide liason between the Seminary, Alumni Council
and their classes. These representatives coordinate their class participation
in their reunion celebrations, or other functions involving Alumni. Please refer
to the listing of all class
representatives.
Lutheran Theological Seminary's Alumni Awards are now
given in three catagories
and nominations are made by alumni. |
