Biography:

Roger W. Wilmer Jr., grew up in Philadelphia. After high school he attended the Institute for the Advancement of the Medical Sciences in Cherry Hill, NJ. After graduation he found his "nitch" in the specialty of organ donation and transplantation. The Lord led him to be spiritually mentored, for many years, under the leadership of the Reverend Luke J. Robinson, Pastor of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church in Frederick, MD. Wilmer was ordained an Itinerate Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in May 2003. In 2005, he was ordained an Itinerate Elder in the A.M.E. Church. His first appointment was to Saint Peter's A.M.E. Church in Shippensburg, PA. 

Wilmer is currently pastor at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Mercersburg, PA, and St. James A.M.E. Church of Chambersburg, PA. Wilmer and his wife Cheryl have two lovely daughters, Jacqueline and Lauren, and are the proud grandparents of Jordan Michaela.
