Dates:  Monday, July 8, 2013 – Friday, July 12, 2013
Early Bird Registration Ends May 3rd

End times have been a source of concern and conjecture for thousands of years.  During this Summer Institute, we will be studying the Bible along with our current culture to understand the Book of Revelation and how it relates to apocalyptic thinking in our society. Dr. Carlson will spend the week helping participants responsibly interpret the book of Revelation by reviewing the contours and thrusts of the scope of Revelation as well as looking at ways that popular rapture theologies have dangerously distorted Revelation and its claims for our lives.  Dr. Erling will help participants to understand the interesting way that religious and biblical apocalyptic themes have surfaced in modern political and spiritual movements in American popular culture.

Suggested (but not required) Reading: The Rapture Exposed by Barbara Rossing
