Staff Supports Scholarship with Spirit Week

Spirit Week Feb 28-March 5
LTSG11-19  For immediate Release

In the week beginning February 28th, the Advancement Office will be sponsoring the annual scholarship support campaign kick-off, Spirit Week! Spirit Week is a time on campus when all are invited to unified joyful participation in raising much-needed scholarship assistance for LTSG seminarians. For a small daily gift, members and friends of the Gettysburg Seminary community give themselves permission to become “Fools for Christ.” Each day brings a humorous new theme to guide creative apparel choices as we become partners in sharing the good news of being “clothed in Christ.” On-campus themes for the week include:

Monday Sports Apparel – Support your favorite team or celebrate your inner athlete
Tuesday Black and White – Wear your clerics or be a penguin!
Wednesday Support our Troops – Come as the sun or cover yourself in ribbons; yellow is the key
Thursday Hats – Adorn yourself with head gear
Friday Slippers and Casual Wear – Get comfortable and celebrate the fruits of your labor
