Gettysburg Alumni/ae

Thirty-three graduates were added to the thousands who have received theological education at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. These pages are especially for them and more than 2,000 of their peers.

Gettysburg Seminary has been blessed to have over 5,500 graduates who’ve gone forth to serve the Church and world.  We value the life and service of those who have journeyed on from this institution.

Gettysburg Seminary has prepared leaders for the Church for more than 190 years and will continue to do so into the critical decades ahead.  The Seminary equips people called to public ministry, preparing them to address the gospel of Jesus Christ to today’s mission opportunities and unique challenges.  It serves as a center of reflection and research, teaching and study, worship and practice for our Church.  We hope you will support theological education of those called to serve as leaders in our Church.

We asked that you consider our request for support.  As the Seminary continues to prepare leaders for the church for years to come you will be working with us through these gifts.  Your ministry will go wherever our graduates go proclaiming the Good News of God’s unfailing love.  We are grateful for the partnership we share in Christ.

Some alumni/ae who’ve shared their memories.  You can also hear from students, some alums, and a professor at Ministry in the Making.

We ask that you pray with us and for us.  Just as we give thanks to God for you and your ministry.  Join with us in prayer
