Fisher's Net FAQ
What is the address for Fishers Net? Use http://fishersnet.blackboard.com to access your LTSG courses.
What is my username or password? For most Fisher's Net users your username will be the first eight letters of your last name followed by the first two letter of you first name. For Example: Martin Luther would log in as lutherma. The user name is not case sensitive, but your password is case sensitive. If you don't know or forgot your password use the "Forgot Your Password?" link on the Fisher's Net homepage. You will be sent a link to the email address listed in Fisher's Net for you with a link to reset your password.
Fisher's Net always errors and says it is reloading the tab, I can't get to my materials. You probably need to install the latest version of Java. Go to http://java.com and click on the "Free Java Download" button to install the latest version of Java.
I am prompted multiple times for my password when opening docuements. If you experience this problem choose the Save option rather than the Open option. When the Save option is selected, instead of trying to open the document from the website, the document downloads to your computer. It can then be opened normally. Make sure to keep track of where you saved your document to so you can find it again.
I can't open any documents on Fisher's Net. Internet Explorer may be blocking file downloading. If it is, a yellow bar will appear at the top of the screen indicating this. Click on the bar and allow downloads. You will be reset to the course homepage and will have to find the document again, but it should open now.
How to I submit an assignment to my instructor? Please read this handy guide.
