WITTENBERG AWARD TO RICK STEVES MARCH 3, CAPITOL HILL TALK MARCH 4
Gettysburg Seminary’s Luther Institute will give a Wittenberg Award to PBS travel host Rick Steves on Monday, March 3rd. It will take place at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Arlington, VA (Rev. Dr. Scott Ickert, Pastor) from 7-9:30 p.m. (RSVP to director@lutherins.org ) Steves will also speak on Capitol Hill at an event co-sponsored by Bread for the World and tLI on Tuesday, March 4th from 5-7 p.m. (reception and talk at the Rayburn Bldg room 2322 -- RSVP to mboyer@bread.org ) Steves will talk on America’s image abroad. The events are open to interested persons, but RSVP is required. www.lutherinst.org
