leaders to reflect and respond theologically to moral, political, ecumenical,
and economic issues facing the church and society.
The Center reflects the Seminary’s 30-year commitment to ecumenical
partnership and desire to access national and international arenas for
public debate and policy-making.
Qualified participants have access to courses, libraries and the full
resources of the Washington Theological Consortium and Lutheran Theological
Seminary at Gettysburg. The “House of Studies,” a convenient,
readily accessible house in N. E. Washington, offers residency to a
select number of students and researchers seeking a semester or year
of study
in the nation's capital.
